Important Service Notice for SugarCRM users

Alert for SugarCRM 6.4+ CE, Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate
 
Update on March 16th:
 
Our team has implemented a temporary fix that provides integration access to users of SugarCRM 6.4.  However, users can still receive errors that 'Records cannot be found' when conducting large imports of data to subscriber lists.  We are advising users to cut their target list/campaign lists in half when you receive an error and try again.  The error is a result of the server exceeding allocated memory, as assigned in php.ini.  They key is to keep the data size low enough to not exceed this assigned limit OR if you have control of your server, it can always be increased as hardware resources allow.
 
Any account using a version release prior to 6.4, will continue receiving our full integration without issue.  
 
We are in the process of updating our integration for 6.4 users in cooperation with SugarCRM.  Their team have provided us API methods that will allow us to return 6.4 users to a fully functional, performance oriented solution.  We expect this to be completed for our next release that is planned for the end of April.

This is an important service notice for inBOX25 users that are currently integrating our system with their SugarCRM instance.
 
As a part of SugarCRM's most recent release (6.4), their API framework was modified to prevent certain types of queries from being utilized.  Unfortunately, the primary query that has been disabled has impacted our integration's ability to fully function.  The most visible point of failure is an error that no records can be found when you attempt to import/sync a campaign list as a new subscriber list in your inBOX25 account.

We're in contact with SugarCRM and pushing for an immediate solution to remedy this problem.
 
 
Using an earlier version of SugarCRM and receiving errors?
 
If you're using a release that predates 6.4 and are receiving errors, please follow this article.
 
The most common errors occur when proper permissions are not present to access the targets, leads, contacts, accounts or prospect list modules.  We always recommend that you authenticate your account with a 'System Administrator' level SugarCRM user.  However, there are situations that we've encountered when even the 'System Administrator' is denied access via the SugarCRM API to certain modules.
 
The most common error that you will receive when permissions are not set correctly is:
 
'We couldn't find any records for the selected Sources'
 
If you see this error, please first verify the following:
 
1. That the campaign list you're attempting to import has at least one target list assigned.
 
2. That your target list(s) has at least one contact with a valid email address.  inBOX25 will ignore ALL records that do not have a valid email address.  Please note, valid email address implies proper formatting and not that the email address has been verified to be real or accurate.
 
3. That your target list(s) only contain records from the following supported modules: Targets, Leads, Contacts or Accounts.
 
4. There have been scenarios when users have corrected this error by simply running 'Database Repair' tool inside the SugarCRM admin console.  In the event of a broken or corrupt database table, this error has resulted in the past and in some cases it was quickly corrected by running the repair tool.
 
If you're still receiving an error, then you need to review the permission(s) for the SugarCRM user that you're using to authenticate your SugarCRM account.
 
 
When settings up user roles or verifying your administrators credentials, its important to understand:

1. If Access is set to Disabled for a particular module, no data synchronization will occur for that module.
 
2. If the permission of a setting is set to Owner, then the user that is assigned to the item (usually the user that creates an item) can modify it, but other users will not be able to.
 
3. If you want to permit all users to access and modify data, All must be assigned.
 
4. Permissions need to be set for Export to All or Owner to permit synchronization.
 
5. Permissions need to be set for Import to All or Owner to permit synchronization.
 
 
Module could be hidden
 
If the permissions for the user appear to show that the user has access to create, modify and delete but is still receiving Access Denied errors, the module in question may be hidden from the user, resulting in the module being disabled.

If the module is not accessible to the user then they log into the CRM, no data can be synchronized for that module.
